I used the old foam with new vinyl over new plywood. All told I redid my engine hatch for less than $100 and I think it looks great. If you want a low cost do it yourself approach, look at mine. If not, well, please do not insult me too much....

Page 7 post 62 and 63. Later I also redid some of the seat cushions. Earlier I had refinished the vinyl on my bucket seats.

The guys that did my interior charged $4000 All new marine grade plywood sealed and painted new marine foam sealed in plastic just like Formula did it.
