can you tell me how your kind of plywood to make a bed is fixed? Was wondering how to do mine?

there are the notches going up each side of the walk way or bench, inside those notches slides a little piece of wood to make little supports going from port to stbd under the bed wood, then the bed part is just 2 pieces of wood with a full lenght hinge that folds i assume for easy storage
