Re: f 35-7 engine room picture
Ya it will get used well. I have to still do the stringers up in the cabin and take out the entire cabin. I am not going to put the interior back into the boat. I plan to put larger bulkheads into the cabin and only have a very small seating area just in case I have kids in the future.....

That should make the boat a bit lighter for sure.
How fast you going to run on completion with the engines you have. I found with my boat there is quite a bit of flex on the fore deck and it would be good to strengthen that area up a bit. Here is a shot of the boat runnin 4 Guests Half full on fuel; A realy cool ride. :D |
Re: f 35-7 engine room picture
I have no idea on speed. Maybe 75? I would **** if I hit 80. The boat did fex a LOT before but that was with all rotten out mess under the floors. I think that with the bulkheads most of that will be gone. I also am doing things like tieing the bulkheads into the sides of the boat (something that Formula did not do back then). I am going to put all the bulkheas back in stock but glassed at first and see what I have. If it needs more at that time I will see what I want to do. I am hoping that by just glassing the stuff in in stead of having it screwed in with blocks that it will add a ton of strenght.
