Hi,
I'm getting ready to go to Havasu this coming weekend and need to figure out a couple of things, at least. I'm hoping you guys can help me out.
Can someone tell me where the fill is for the fresh water tank on the 382? It's a 2001 if it makes a difference.
Does the toilet use water from the fresh water tank?
When I turn on my vacuflush switch, the pump just keeps running and never shuts off. It does build a vacuum, but it never shuts down. I don't know if it is building a good vacuum and refuses to shut off, or if it is unable to build a sufficient vacuum to shut itself off. Even better, I don't know if it is supposed to shut off, but I'm guessing it is. Any pointers for what might be the problem?
Thanks!

Should have a stainless deck plate and cap on top of the deck starboard side near the bow for water fill.
I believe the vacuflush pump will continue running as long as the switch is on. Just turn it on before use, off after. I'm not sure on this as I rarely use mine. Should be a manual for the vacuflush in your Formula owners pack, if not go online for the (SeaLand?) company and they will have downloadable owners manual in PDF format.

Freshwater holding tank supplies the sink, head, and transom shower. If you don't already know, it is located under the cushions in the v-berth. Pump will be under the cushions accessed by a small panel on the port side.

I have crawled right over that water fill about a dozen times and never saw it this past weekend.
I looked out the window this morning and saw it gleaming in the sun from 50 ft away. Dang. Thanks for the help.

Hey, thanks guys. I'll tighten that stuff down on Friday when I'm under the hood, errr hatch. I saw that there is a rebuild maintenance kit online for them, but I'll try the screwdriver approach first.
