Default Bimini top for 206 LS

I'm looking for a bimini top for my 87 206LS and need a few tips. Does anyone have pics of where they mounted there top and size measurements? I'm buying one online and don't want to end up with a package full of problems. Thanks

Don`t listen to Cuda" Mr. Sun godess" I would probably go with one of those umbrella style ones if your not useing it much.

I believe you can mount it anywhere on the sides as long as it will rest on the engine hatch or if you are going to use supports to keep it up. As long as you get shade in the cockpit you`ll be fine.

FYI CUDA, Hates Bimini Tops " Grumpy old man"

Thanks Masi for the info. Sunbrella is the one I'm getting but wanted some opinions. I've seen the type that don't lay down and that's not what I want. I believe I've got the right measurements so it will lay flat against the hatch. As for Cuda, I feel his pain but it's all about keeping the ladies satisfied.

Our 280SS has a Taylormade top and it is unbelievable. Great material and has a added extension to the rear so it provides shade to the entire seating area. When straps are snug there is no wind noise or flapping and when our 2 year old says it's time for a nap we make her a pallet in the cuddy then roll up the top and enjoy the sun--best of both worlds.

I got what it takes to keep the ladies sassified, and it ain't no bimini top!

Actully, I bought a Lost Bawana umbrella shade a few years ago, and I still have never used it. I use lots of sunscreen.

Thanks everyone for the pics! I'm going to place the order tomorrow. Cuda, if that thing is casting shade you may want to get it registered. I've been pulled over before for operating a large vessel without tags and the fines are horrible. Don't let it happen to you.
