What year is your 382? There was a change in switch manufacturers around 2001. The earlier ones had caps that pop off the rocker, the newer ones do not. If you have the older style, I can give you a source for the covers available in different colors.

The boat is 2000...I belieundefinedve I have the older style...I got some from Trick and they wouldn't fit (4 fastener holes one in each corner) mine have 2 in the center.

Thanks

CAFormula1,

You have the new style switches made by Bennett. Their number is 954-427-1400.

dgduck13,

You have the old style switch made by Honeywell. They have replaceable buttons available from Honeywell. Call Donna at 800-537-6945. They are $6.50 each.

Another source is Peerless Electronics 800-285-2121.

Lots of info in this old thread I started:

Aahh - That's the boat out of NC, isn't it? The engines were 100% polished aluminum, if I recall....

Never mind. I read the quoted post. At the time of the previous thread (9/04), it was possible to buy new caps for the new style switches from Bennett but only in Black or White. The referenced thread is quite informative. I have a couple of yellow switch caps. I'll add it to my list.

Thanks,
Garrett
