You had replied to a post I made a while back about prop selection for a 271 fastec. You said that a stock 26 bravo1 usually works best, & that labbed props have higher slip#'s. Can you recall how high of slip? Have you ever tried a hydromotive Quad Iv?
I'm turning a stock 26 bravo1 to 5100 @ 12% slip & am wondering if I have any room for improvement. I know this sounds stupid but, my speedo hits 68-69 right now & I'd like to see it hit the low 70's. It's a mental thing

I believe you are doing about as good as you can do. Stock 70 mph 271's are very rare.
