I've never seen mirrored plastic at home Depot either .... a glass shop for sure ... mines flakin off too ... was thinking about just removing em ...but Cuda's mention of colored mirror might not be bad ....some of the mirror in the cabin is flakin too ........

About the cover ....if its not broke too bad maybe repair it with Epoxy and paint the whole thing ...I'm sure you'd rather have new ... I would ... m

more about the mirrors the ones in the cabin are they Plexiglas?

Yes, I think it's called mirrorplex-any plastics or glass place should have it.
