I've had my 382 for about 6 weeks. Even with the glass the wind still gets you. I think it's because the glass lays back so far that it doesn't provide any lift to the air. When I had my 312 I bought some windaways (windaway.com???) and they worked great. Use them on the 382 and will never run without them again!!!!

LOL.....I thought it looked better with the original windshield. The windshield is better than just a faring. Are you kidding? With the faring, the wind is smack in your face! With the windshield....well....it's not!

Besides...it looks classic Formula baby!

Taylor Made is the manufacturer. Not sure you would get it at a better price from them. Still looking at around $16,000.

I've had both. The windshield is much better than the fairing. Wind is 100% in your face with the fairing, just gets the top of your head with the windshield.

Plumber, you could try Marine Glass Specialty and ask for George in Fl. P.H. is 813-926-3717. I got a windshield ( part of one) for my 311. Propwash
