My boat has a miss and I hear spark jumping in the engine compartment. I usually just use AC plugs and Mercruiser wires and cap. I am thinking of maybe using some MSD, Accel stuff this time. Does anyone have any recommendations or should I just continue using the stock stuff. It is only a stock 454, but the mercruiser wires seem like they are only 7mm. Also is there really a difference between marine stuff anf car stuff. Any extra performance and reliability is always welcome. Thanks for any input

For marine , I dislike MSD anything. Merc or NAPA cap and rotor every other year. Fourth season on my Moroso wires and absolutely no plans on changing them anytime soon

I would stick with 'stock' tune up parts.....my .02
