Default 33 SS Sun Sport

Does anyone on the board have any experience with one? What do they run with 496ho's and B-3 drives? There is a black one up here that is REAL nice looking.

I own one 496MAGS W/B-3. I didn't think they had a HO option in those. 55mph what I was told, I never put mine up there, always with the family but it runs 40-45mph on a Sat. @ LOTO pretty smooth as long as its trimed correctly. Nice boats, great seating and very roomy up top. Add a swim platform and you get a boat that makes pretty good speed and cove out in comfort.

You cannot get 496HO`s in a 330SS. The 375hp 496MAG is the largest engine package Formula offers in the 330SS.

I have a 2005 330 ss with volvo 375hp motors. I have seen 62 on the gps but that was with little gas and the boat mostly unloaded, fall temps and cool slick water. But I can run 58-59 anytime with any load.

I talked to Raylar and found out the only difference between the 375 and the 425 motors is the cams and the engine computer program. He can reprogram your computer to a 425 hp then all you have to do is a cam swap. Not sure how much speed you will get out that. I am running right at redline now at wot so i would also need to change prop sets. which priced it out of my budget for now.

I spoke with the factory today and if you have seen 502`s someone has change the engine package. The highest horsepowered 330SS were the 454Mag boats several years ago at t/385`s.
