I checked with the factory today and I was correct that 1989 was the last year Formula produced a two tone gel coat boat. The exception to this statement is the PC`s were still made with two gel coats(white
w/gray stripe).1990 the SR-1 ,LS boat came with white gel coat w/Imron graphics.

upon further consideration, in the silver for example...the dack has to be painted with an all white interior. IE: the paint has to meet the interior visuallyfor the contrasting effect.

next question, what kind of issues are we gonna have with paint below the water line aft on a slipped boat?

doesn't bother the SS's and cruisers does it?
Imron on the SS and PC boats have not shown any problem with
being under water. Our water is fresh so I cannot tell you what will happen in salt.

Robert - Make sure that you talk with Scott. He saw my boat at the 2005 Formula Renezvous, so he knows the effect on the real thing.

The execution of the paint on my boat isn't quite up to Formula factory standards, but you get the idea. I originally had a black accent stripe added to the foredeck, but the Admiral had it removed - burned her feet in the sun!

...and I AM looking for a silver bimini!!!

Nice looking boat C Spray!

Is that a large GPS over the cabin door? How is it mounted?

Thanks! I have mixed feelings about it not being a one-off any more, though... Like someone suggested, it's a sleeper, with Innovation 600's, a factory option in 2000.

That's a 10" Garmin 2010C chartplotter, soon to be replaced by the new 3210 (same size, shape). Here's the thread. Check post #13.

I'll take one!

It's a done deal,Flagship graphics now available on 07 Fastechs Only detail left is John Adams is finishing up final treatment for the deck stripe. Have a customer ordering a red Flagship 382 shortly. Don't have pricing yet but I would guess less than Platinum as it is less labor intensive.

Robert, I called Formula a week or 2 ago about something. Made a point to tell the lady on the phone that I was glad to see this option available on the fastech line!

Formula DOES understand that they will have to pay me an honorarium for every "Flagship" FasTech produced, don't they?
