hi formula guys and gals, I have 1990 242ls 454 330hp b1 1. has anybody repowered with 496ho Im thinking of the closed cooling advantage plus a lot more power. what will my stock brovo 1 handile as far hp . I know, but my boat is worth it. Thank,s everybody for your imput

The swap is no problem as long as you get a take out with all the bolt ons or a new dressed engine. Mounts and dimensions are all the same. The Bravo should be able to handle the power no sweat and the swap should give you 100 hp and more torque. If the boat suits your needs and you plan on keeping it then go for it. If you are planning on selling, you'll never get your money back out.
