Great little boats that formula only made in the early 80's. Typical Formula quality in a little package. My uncle bought one as a ski boat (great ski boat btw) that had a newer Merc 220 hp V-6 I/O and the boat FLIES. Put a 350 mag and thru hull in it and you have a serious animal on your hands. Driven it a few times and was very impressed for a small boat.

Been on couer d'alene lake in some 2 to 3 footers and you definatley have to be on you game and like speed . The faster the better and if you slam a wave hang on cause the boat will take it but you might not ....... The hull is very stable and with the outboard it will be super lite . You definatley will be MOHAMED ALI float like a butterfly and sting like a bee. Lots of luck and fun

Thabks You and just one more question, do you know if it is a 20 inch or 25inch shaft on the motor.

The hull is very predictable and solid....will land much softer than you think. But remeber this boat weighs in at less than 2000lbs and will pop out of the water very easily in the right chop. I think the max hp rating on the outboard was 145....gotta think that a newer 150-175 outboard would be a blast on this hull given that the rating many times came from the weight of the motor back then.
