Here is the official word from Formula Technical Assistance Group. They do have concerns about the headliner situation in certain boats but realize that every case is different (age of boat, type of failure, etc.) They are willing to look at things on a one on one basis and try to help if the situation warrants it on an individual basis. E-mail photos and hull serial # to [email protected] . Robert

Well that is a good step in the correct direction. Thank you Robert and anyone else that has helped out in this.

Robert, Thanks so much for all your help and coming through like you said you would. I sure wish we had people here in MI that wanted to help as much. You would have my business any day.
On another note I tore my headliner out, do you think pictures of it on the plywood would be good as well as the backing of the material. Thanks again for all youve done. now I know why I joined OSO Mark

Sure, send them what you have,Formula is the easiest in the industry to deal with, and I have dealt with lots of boat builders in the past 40 years
Don't know your actual situation but you will get more than a fair shake from Formula,I always have, and I know I always will. And so will a Formula owner.

Robert,
You have certainly gotten a great deal of headway on this matter when there was very little. My hats off to you for getting the info for these guys. Maybe Formula got wind of the feeling from some owners and is stepping up, great to hear.

Nothing to do with me,it's Formula. They stepped up after realizing there were a few boats out there with problems.

That's BS. Formula has helped me with several issue.....but so have you.
BTW guys: Robert is a Merc dealer.......I've made it a habit to order Merc parts from him too. (I'd rather him make a buck off me than anyone else I've ever dealt with!)
