From the other thread it sure sounds like you have it running good!

First is at East Harbor beach. Dad's Nordic Tug, brothers 21 Formula, my 292. Second pic is at Bay Point beach.
I did'nt get the 353 in the water untill Sept. The west end of Lake Erie, Sandusky Bay, and the Islands are a great place to boat... Maybe I'll see you next time...

MOPOWER, I'm runing a Mirage Plus 23 and spining it to ~5200 w/ about 40 gal in the hole and 1-220# on the wheel. I was running a bravo 24 under the same conditions, ~, and I was getting 68.5 mph gps and right around 5100 rpm. Now that I'm proped for the correct rpm, eventually I would like to run a well calibrated 850cfm carb rather than the stock 800. Your numbers with the 535 hp sound just right for what we're running. Thanks for the speed versus HP check! Stay in touch.

We already did and the 850 made less HP

I ad 91 223ls, i put a 510ci engine tat put out around 600hp, i was running a bravo 22" 4 blade prop. I had all the gauges upgraded to livorsi, with a monster gps speedo. wit a full tank I was runing around 78mph. I was going to upgrade the steering and put k planes , but then decided to sell the boat. i now have 06 292.

Were you guys dialed-in on the a/f ratio (~12.6-12.8) with the 850? I have an older HP500 (542 ci) so I think running the right prop and dialing-in an 850cfm carb should be worth sonmething. Time will tell; unfortunetly I don't have a dyno so I have to judge my results by top speed and rpm. In the meantime, I'm content with 69.9 mph gps. Even with 3 people and 1/2 tank full I can still run+68. Thanks.
