Okay, I've gone around in circles on this forever. Here's my dilemma.
I want a nice sized chartplotter on my 382. I'd like to have a 7" or 8" screen. This causes the obvious problems of not having enough space on the dash.
The first question is, can I replace the existing dash panel that has the step in it to the flat dash that is on the newer 382's?
I'm willing to give up the speedo and the current garmin gps. But, I want to keep the tach's, and I can't eliminate any of the 8 remaining smaller gauges, 2 water temp, 2 oil pressure, 2 oil temp, 1 volt, 1 fuel. I'd like to get a combo gauge that contains two oil and two water temp gauges and is about the same size as the tach's.
I'd even consider going to digital gauges if I have to.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Garrett

I'll get in the boat in the next few days for a couple pics.
