SW,

You might want to check with Jeff Hood at Allied Plastics in Toledo. 419.389.1688. He just fabbed a new glove box lid for my 382. If it can be done, he is the guy I know around here who can do it.

Thanx RedDog . . . as always, you have the answers. I have a guy that may be able to help me in Kansas City- if that doesn't happen, i will check with Jeff.

Sounds like a good reasson to trade up to that 382 you've been considering! :D

This company has all the old patterns and can make all the old parts.

Obviously Multi Fab would be the way to go...if they're not cost prohibitive. I might consider going in on a "group buy" if that might help with pricing? But I might want to consider a different color if possible; more along the lines of a dark gray/charcoal maybe? Open to ideas...
If you go local, there should be a plastics place that can fabricate that stuff easily. I had a local shop recreate an old center console windshield using the original as a template. We had him use 1/2" polycarb...turns out it's bulletproof at that thickness  But it turned out perfect.

I could use one too - for group buy purposes. When I got my 311 that piece was not cracked, which is hard to find in a old bird. Then I take it out the 2nd time and crack it, doh!

When you are running, do you leave the hatch open or closed and latched. Just curious?

I try to be good about closing the top and latching it.
