Merc 465's question.
I have always thought these were 502's is that correct? I am wondering about gas mileage from any one else whos has these, how do yours do? They are in a 1991 Formula 311.

They did have a 465hp 502cu.in. motor several years ago. They have BIG carbs and here at the lake seem to run extra rich on the low end side,we usally had to re-jet them to stop the soot on the back of the boats. They were wicked fast on top end though.
