After several calls, e-mails etc this week, I got off the phone tonight with the MI Formula dealer/owner at 5:15pm. We agreed I'd drive up first thing in the morning to buy the 2002 353 we had been discussing. Wife & I were way excited!
He calls me back tonight at 7:15pm & sezs, sorry but he just took a deposit on it.
Something doesn't smell right & I'm pissed/bummed.
Anyone know of 2000-2004ish fresh water 353's out there besides the what's on the board?
The best super clean boat I know of at the moment is a 38' Fountain and you don't want me to do that!

I guy near me has a 99 353 with fresh 502 mags for sale. I've been on the boat but it's been awhile. (It was kept in good shape then). I spoke with him a few weeks ago and he said he had bought a big cruiser and wanted to sell the 353 if I knew anyone interested.
If you need more info I'll get his number for you.

Call Robert.
You'll be guaranteed a fresh water boat and a dealer who will stand behind what he sells. Now's a great time to visit the great state of Alabama and Robert can demo whatever he has in stock on one of the most beautiful lakes in the Southeast. Fly in, buy a boat, eat a plate of great southern BBQ, fly home and a couple of days later you're have the delivery truck in your driveway with your dream boat.

I rec'd several private e-mails last evening that shared poor experiances with this particular dealer. It sounds like I may be fortunate the deal fell apart.
Well it's a new day! Lot's of boats out there. And I will be on the water in a month or so. Still thinking it will probally be a Formula 353.
