I may have to sell my '89 292 w/502 EFIs [210 hrs], Imco full hydraulic. New Bravo Ones in '03 plus labbed 4-blade Bravo Ones 26P. Drive showers, K-planes, 1000watt stereo, transom shower, etc. The right price would be 35k

88242LS 05-01-2007 03:52 PM

Griz my colors my imron design, wrong (for me) price. 382 I am at low 20's on another 272 right now, and I would have to be near that, there are a cpl more 272's I like, but price is wrong, everyday I start out wanting a 272, bye the end of the day I drive bye a gas station and start questioning myself again:(

Griz 05-01-2007 05:19 PM

No problem 88242LS, I hate the thought of selling her. I'm going to try my best not to. With the '98 EFIs she runs like a bat-out-of-hell. She's my favorite boat up to now, but momma-Donna thinks we may have to go to a cruiser because of her recent back injury. God help me.

That would be perfect for me now. My 302 is really too big for the type boating we do now. I loved my 242, but it was too small when we lived on the other coast. Also, I didn't like the fact it did not have bolsters. Too bad I'm a broke dik mfr, or I'd be all over this one.

You don't need to know anything about them. I've had them nearly four years, and all I've done is change the oil.

Superboat Guy 05-06-2007 10:58 AM

email sent, if you dont get it please let me know!

:D :D
Atta boy Cuda. Honestly though, Cuda is quite open with his his trials and tribulations. Haven't seen too much bad on the 302 other than regular maintainance that we all need to do. Looks like like a nice boat to me.

NO, never met Cuda in my life. And NO. I get nothing if he sells. Actaully, I'm quite surprised that boat hasen't sold already.

How about an 86 242 with a 421" small block. Dart block and heads. Steel crank and rods. GIL exhaust. Less than 100 hours on motor. $15,000. Located in New Jersey.

88242LS 05-25-2007 04:49 PM

wantsa311 05-25-2007 05:04 PM

This hurts. This is the first time i've said I'd sell my 311. 32K on a trailer. Nice boat ... I looked forever before I bought it.

Sam:

Not sure but I need to decide quick. Otherwise, I'll be missing out on prime time. Just got boat back from being summerized. Just had sunpad redone and had new mirrors made up for engine compartment. Needs a few other things done to it. Will sell boat for less if you don't want anything else done or will sell boat with everything fixed. I'll be around all holiday weekend; cleaning the boat and, hopefully taking it out. Feel free to give me a call and to come down and take a look. I am only about 20 minutes from you. No big deal if you are not interested. I wouldn't mind asking you some ?'s about the boat even if you are not interested. Call me any time on my cell. 716-982-7288. Looking forward to hearing from you. If not, enjoy your holiday weekend.

I'd be all over Inman's boat if it has big blocks and I didn't already have a bird! Awesome color combo too...
Have you looked at his boat yet?
20 minutes away? At the very least, check out the boat to compare while shopping around.
Sounds like he wants to work something out in your budget.

What is your price range?

This 1989 272 is near me:

http://www.thesaltydog.com/search/viewListing49891.aspx

I looked at this 1987 272 last year when it was with a different broker:

http://www.yachtworld.com/core/listi..._id=63770&url=

chuck21401 06-10-2007 10:42 AM

When searching the classifieds sometimes they get the year or length incorrect.

This 272 is listed as a 2006 model:

88242LS 06-11-2007 09:43 PM

Chuck thanks for the links keep them coming Ive checked all of them out, except the 87/06:p the one on the lift is too much for a 87, the other one is beat, I have a cpl good links on 272's, honestly I was hoping another 242 with bolsters would pop up, well see, but appreciate all the links

I had a 89 242LS with a 454LS and bolsters, great boat, but could have used another 50-100hp. A 242LS with bolsters and a 502 magnum would be they way to go if you can find one. :drink:

I like the color scheme on this 272
