I had to go to the next size up because of my swim platform puts me at approx. 33' ..... The cover was $443.00 to the door you can't go wrong for that money ..... I had another thread on here asking the same questions and carver covers is definiatly your best bet.

Good Luck

Jeff

So is yours a carver cover? Or something else? Need to get one for that new black Fountain. I would be looking for a light weight dust cover, nothing too heavy.

Ragged,

Go with the carver, cutom fit, reasonable pricing, and lightweight.

What fabric did you get? Are they a custom, to the particuliar boat fit, or a generic fit?

Hey Ragged,

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner ..... Yes it is a Carver cover. Carver makes it for iboats i guess .... they had the clearout of this "outdura" fabric in black. My buddy with the Red 311 liked it so much he ordered one last week as well ... fits like a glove.
It is about half the weight my old one was ... it was "duck cotton".
I really don't think you can go wrong with it especially if you are going to use it the way you are talking.
I probably won't even try to use this when I am trailering. They maintain you can ... I think I will pass on that.
They use the term fits like a shower cap ... good analogy. It is as close to a semi-custom fit you are going to get, not absolutely perfect but pretty dam close.

Good luck ....

Jeff

If anyone is still looking for covers let me know. We found a company in Michigan that makes custom covers for really reasonable pricing. Just had a full cover to the water line made for our 45 Sonic for $1695. They have really competitve prices and good products ie: Sunbrella, Aqualon, to name a couple
