Looking good Rip...Those 8's ought to pound pretty good for the RnR you listen to.

You really are cutting up that boat! Are you going to enclose the back of the subs, or let the space under the seat be the air space?

OT: I started the 19" flat panel install in mine. Not too far yet, just removed the head mirror ( in 4 pieces:( ) Oh well, not a problem. I'll post some pictures when I get a chance.

When are you putting in?

Dave

the backseat is just a piece of starboard, easy to duplicate.
The gunnel stop I'll save, I don't know why? It can take up space with the Silent Thunder box, keep it company...

these little kickers supposedly perform well free-air. I'll have about 30 inches of cone. I don't want to give up the space for enclosures, but if I do I'll build the whole thing (front panel included) custom out of 5/8 MDF. Easy project, maybe next year. Cover it in white foam-backed vinyl and move up to some serious 8's, maybe 6 of them...
I was going to go another sub route, but that would have REALLY cut up the boat. Decided against it.

2 weeks if the weather is good. It's still not very warm! On the days with some air temp the wind is cold ect. I may just trailer a couple times until the real weather gets here.

The boat is 99% ready other than cleaning up the interior when this is over and changing all 4 fuel filters which I have on hand.

I did everything else last fall.

tweeters mounted. decided on one more amp and another set of tweeters up front for sound-staging.

mounted the sub control where it's handy hanging out in the back seat.

more. you can see how the raised floor over the tank access prohibits 10's really. to the sides, 10's are typically too deep to allow you to get the battery doors swung up enough to get a battery in and out.

front tweets

I used the angle cups instead of flush mounting on all 4 tweeters for the "up and back" projection.

You keep you peter to yourself, or at least somewhere away from me. If you keep adding equiptment to that boat your floscans are going to overload. :D

You wouldn't add all that equipment to the Fountane, might slow it down a quarter mph. :p

Jesus H. Christ,

Will there be no quiet hours in the boathouse this year? Me thinks we need a new sign, 10am??????
