the $8 grill solution finalized. Very HD protection as these are the thicker of the two available metal waffle grills.

All 8 of the screws through the subs and grills/subs are full thread thru the pastic.

got up mid-day after three twelve hour night shifts and a three nurse breakfast this morning and took the drills to the closet door for the vents. came out nice. doing the test layout on that 2x4 was a good move as I was able to aproach the project with additional confidence. turned out perfect!

wear eye protection when drilling this plastic. i used a 1 1/8" speed-bore wood bit and the shards fly and are alot like glass!

i have had this s/s handrail around a couple years. it is going on the head wall like the new ones for companionway assist.

5pm, I woulda gotten that WHITE sub from my stereo "Guy"....It woulda matched the paint a little better!

Maybe they make a white sharpie .

I had put 2-10" subs and 2-6x9 under the rear seat in the 312, The 10" subs fit (Barely) just had to really be sure on the measurements..........

back seat back together.
Thru-bolted 11 times and screwed-in 4 places.
very sturdy
good thing, as I'll tell you in a minute.
