freshwater flush option
OK, the new to me '02 353 has freshwater flush on the 500s, can I just hook up the hose and crank up the motors? Never had this option before. A little guidance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Aren't we the smart ones!!! Both have boats and on a perfect day here we sit, you cleaning vynil all day, and I was sanding sheetrock. :stupid: As for your FW flush deal, you in "theory" should be able to fire them up on the hose, I would check to be sure they are in fact plumbed in and functional before you try this deal. No water for a nano-second, or so  , and your sea water pump impellor is toast. Been there, done that :( , not nice. If you are not sure on your own, have someone check it out for you first. Maybe I'll go look at mine tomorow , before I go back to work on the sheetrock. BTW your paint is the HOT one of the trio!!! |
Factory flush is plumbed before the seawater pump, turn on garden hose and start, sure and simple.
