Default Internal Flapper

Anyone know where I can get internal flappers for the older birds 87-91 with silent thunder boxes. Mine are burned out and I was going to run with the box off. Where can I get flappers for these? Are they special?

I removed my ST box completely, and installed tips. The boat sounds great, without being too loud. The ride improved somewhat, due to taking a lot of weight off of the transom when on plane. The box weighed 95lbs dry

That looks nice h2oboy. If your new style weighed 95 I can't imagine my SR1 ST platform weighing less than 250 underway. Sounds like a great way to lose a deadweight castaway.

h2oboy, your exhaust is below the platform, formula18 has the Silent Thunder platform. Once he removes the platform it will be really loud compaired to yours.

I realize that - a friend of mine has a 29 Outlaw with the same power as mine. He has similar tips, with a tubular platform. His is definately louder, but I removed mine mainly to help improve the ride (new K-Planes are just not in the budget at this time)

I'm pulling my box off of an 02 / 292 but I'm going with the clamp on flappers. Not sure I am going to leave the box off so I don't want anything that permanent
