We have our 353 on a tide tamer lift w/ 16' bunks that are notched for the boats steps. It is a four post lift on wooden pylons. I believe it is a 10,000lb lift.

Jim,
Look into a HI-Tide lift. I have a 16k topless model which is 6 years old and is holding up well. I have the lift in Brick. Cables show no wear, the only thing I have done besides regluar maintenance is replace the covers on the bunks. www.hi-tide.com

I've got a lift related question, I'm getting ready to buy a 15K # Hydrohoist from a guy on Lk Cumberland. When looking at new Hydrohst's they have 2x4's in the back for bunks then a V for the bow.

The hoist I'm looking at is older so there is no bunks in the back just two long (& Narrow) Bunks that run the entire length of the lift and also has a V for the bow. Sorry No Pics.

Can anyone tell me if the "older" style i'm looking at will cause any problems? Also, will I need to adjust the bunks at all (he currently has a 32 Fountain on the lift).

As Usual Everyone's opinions are MUCH Appreciated!!!

If you need # of who bought it from let me know. Its a 13000 lb lift on four pilings which is over kill but I would rather be that way. Also Formula will email you a blueprint of the bottom with all the measurments I forwarded it to Staples and they made it 3'x5' that helped a lot
Tim

Tim do you rent a slip in there? I know a couple owners in there. What kind of lift and who did it for you? I am in the process of new vinyl bulkhead, new docks fixed and floating and a 4 pole lift it is getting expensive. Not trying to be cheap but I wanted to buy and install the lift myself.

NJSONIC Hightide is great but they won"t sell me one direct.
I am getting numbers like 13 k for the lift.I know they are app.6k to buy. It ain't rocket science to install.
