I have a friend who is looking at a 88 357 SR1. An issues with these boats outside the $$ to run them? What is it worth?

its worth what ever you will pay for it .... There a bunch of variables to effect the Value ...


issues .... TRS drives ... does he want insurance ? Some companies wont insure boats over 15 years old ...m

Brick Chithouse if maintained well and worth $30's to 50's depending on condition. If worn out I wouldn't take it if you paid me to haul it away!!!

88 should have bravos
depends on motors
slow iwth 454 mags
faster with 420's or other high perf options ( kaama package, etc)


pretty timeless if lighter colors
price range is large as said above 30k to 50k

I had one with Kamma's, Loved it. Lots of boat for the money as long as it has a clean bill of health. They turn alot of heads.

I have to admit that I miss the originality of my Formula. Love my PQ but the Kaama boats are adicting. Congrats on you new ride. Bring it up to Torch and call me.

Rambunctious - do you frequent the Carribean blue waters of Torch lake? I've been there since 2000 and have not missed the other lakes one bit!
