I understand that the season ends soon for alot of people, but I also know that some big boat shows are this fall like Annapolis Md and Ft Lauderdale Fl. That means, the serious buyers will buy at any time.

It's not that I want to get something bigger, it's that I need something different...like a Concept or other go-fast center console. I'm sure I'll miss the sweet harmony of twin Chevy Big Blocks and 800hp!
Hmm thats right about my budget

Actually lots of boats sell in the fall, and then again right after 1st of the year. When most of us northerners pass time by reading used boat ads.
Dropping selling price may not bring any more buyers than you have now. You just need one guy to come along who really appreciates your specific boat and condition. I'd gladly pay a premium for a very clean boat. Detail it, get the word out in as many ways, economically as you can & be patient.

I always look at it from the angle that I might have to make 6 -8 more payments, pay for storage, pay for insurance on something you don't want to keep, when you could try to put that mone into something that you want.

Good luck. I am trying to dump mine before the winter also.

That's Steve's problem, he doesn't have to make payments or pay for storage...and he wants to keep it

I have been looking at this exact boat.
The trailer is a big issue, the market for selling mine isn't that great either.
Another factor is the just the gas prices to go pick it up would cost a fortune nowaday.
How much would it cost to have a boat like this shipped from Florida to the Chicago area?

Don't let finding a trailer and transport costs keep you from getting the boat you want. Especially if it's a good deal in great shape.
I bet you could find a good used trailer for cheap within a week of posting a "trailer needed" ad. And figure the transport costs into a "vacation" to come see and pick up the boat.
If you're actually going to use the boat, the cost of transport will be a drop in the bucket over time...

Thanks for looking! The guys are right about finding a nice used trailer! If you are seriously interested, I can help you with that. When I brought my boat down here (with my 97 Powerstroke dually), I averaged almost 13 MPG towing my boat! Assuming a 1500 mile trip with that kinda fuel mileage, you are talking about $325 in fuel. Obviously, paying someone to ship it would cost alot more. If you need a truck, I'm considering putting mine for sale, too.
That way, you fly down for $69 one way, buy the truck, boat and trailer as a package deal. Then, you can ship it yourself for less than $500 (of course, not including the cost of the truck, boat and trailer!)!

Oh yeah, hey Mark, I saw the new Carrera forum. Those are some nice boats. I also was looking at the Renegade boats as well... Looks like they are both made in Miami.

Well, I just saw the wholesaler guy. He's up to $25k... Guess I better start getting serious about finding her replacement!
