Throttle Advice needed!!
#1
Hi Guys:
I would like to upgrade the shift controls on my 86 242 to the newer dual lever controls. My current single lever is stripped and I cant seem to fix it and I really like the way the dual controls look and feel but I dont want to spend and arm and a leg upgrading. Any suggestions on where to buy one? Anyone got a used one for sale?
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think I'll need new cables as well right?
PS Anyone else feeling depressed about the summer ending??

Trick Marine has Gaffrig controls. They use the Morse 33C cables. If your boat has Merc cables you will have to buy new ones, but some of the older boats used Morse with Merc adaptors on the control end. If so,the cables will work with only new adaptors.
