That last shot is the bracket for the oil filter. He had to make about eight different brackets for everything. Tons of time and hard work. Really looks nice. Have I said that before?

Nick, everything looks great. Hey, I'm heading out to Vegas this weekend, why don't you push that test date up a couple of weeks and I'll meet you over at Mead !!!

I'd love to man but I'm flying to Miami for the boat show! I'm going to desert storm in April though, why don't you tow your bad boy out and check it out then?

At the present rate, the snow around here won't be melted until June, and they are predicting another big storm for Sunday. I think its time to move to a warmer climate. Have fun in Miami.

Looks great!! Can you say 'sleeper'? Man, that 292 is going to ruin the day of a lot of traditional go-fast runners... I just hope it handles the speed well. Nick, if you don't already, I highly recommend upgrading to the 280S K-Planes. I did and it made a world of difference in high speed handling in the rough, if you consider 70mph 'high speed'!

I'm in total agreement. I still have the bennets but k's are next on the list and what a list that is. Like most things the list on boat stuff is limitless!
The over 70mph speeds is definately a concern. I've experienced the chine walk a few times and it's not a fun sensation. I'm hoping when I get in the 70mph I lower the tabs a tad, calm the thing down and put the tabs up in the upper 70's but who know's? There aren't too many folks out there that have taken the 292 where I'm hoping to take it.
