Well that sucks. I've always understood offshore racing wasn't very profitable, but that is rediculous. And when you figure in the rest of the expenses, you'd have to be nuts, or just have alot of disposible income.

Hmmm, come to Key West and get bent over, imagine that....

Truth is you can make more money racing a five hundred dollar hunk of iron from a salvage yard at a local dirt track on any saturday night than you can racing a one hundred thousand dollar offshore rig. Just think of what it costs Team Gieco every time they hit the road with the multi million dollar boat and entourage that follows. And these sanctioning groups wonder why this deal dosen't catch on.
