My old Velocity speedo would read waaaaaaaaaaaaaay over 100. I believe there was a Faria speedo, and then there was the Velocity speedo by Faria, custom done to Stepp specs.
I Calibrated it to the GPS only about 5 off GPS which is about 5 higher. It doesn't show up to well on photos

Must have put that labbed prop on for the photo shoot. Who did the lab work? I want to send mine in for the "Plus 20" treatment.

Forget about the picture for a minute...I want to call you out on a couple things.

First: You had ALWAYS said that the (non-GPS) speedos in BOTH your old 35' Fountain AND the 320 Velocity were, and I quote "damn near right on". Didn't have the power to prove you wrong on the Velocity, but took good care of the 1999 Fountain!

Second: Why does the picture really matter? I have it and clearly it is better then "your" picture. How about real life? The two instances I have already brought to the table, why is it so hard for you to just admit it? You got spanked!

The real question is....by how much? Don't blame the air or water...we were both in the same air and on the same water in the same place, the only difference was...I was in front of you!

You also had said you would give me ample time to "dial my set-up in." I have, and now you can't handle it!

Bring it Fountain Boy.

First... Those spedos were close, the 99 Fountain would show 83/84 while running 80/81, the Velocity would pin the 100 mph speedo while running 97/98 and that was against a stalker gun, and a couple GPS units. You never would have run with that piece, not then, not now.

Second...Does the picture matter? Well you claim you have the picture of your last time out "Super Bird" run that put away anything I have to show to date, so just put it up. If you're proud of it show it.

What two instances?

Time to dial it in, yup. How am I supposed to know where the he!! that deal ended up when mine was out and long gone by the time you got wherever it is that you finally got to on that last run?

Never all summer did I push or make issue of where you were at. We had the conversation on the dock as to whether or not we would do the run for all the wannabees, I told you it was your call, that I really did not give a chit. You know exactly what I'm talking about here! Again I made no issue and did not push the deal.

Last... I'm happy with the Biotch. I bought the Fountain because I wanted it. Formula builds a fine boat............ But I will never own one, I do not like the way they feel and handle at speed. I prefer the styling of the Fountain as well, but that's my opinion and I'm entitled since I wrote the check. All things considered, the overall handling aspects of the boat are more important to me than a few cabin features. I bought it to drive it, not try to make it take the place of all those Sea Rays that Mark so generously allowed me to use when I was without a boat.

In conclusion... If you ran a big number................ Good for you! If you want me to believe it then post it! Other wise next year will bring what it brings. You need to remember it was all your Flocker buddys that pushed for the big showdown, not me!!!

Done Deal!!!

Not sure who did it it's the one that came with the boat. But, the new one I got at the begining of the season will be on its way to BBlades to get tweaked a little more, just to get the RPM up and a little more onthe top end. The original had a small crack on the trailing side of one of the blades, BBlades fixed it up and took measurments and has numbers for both the labbed and the stock so we'll have to wait and see what it does in the spring
