Apex is the faster of the 2 ..... they both will get to 100 mph quickly .... just that the Apex will continue climbing with extra ponies under it. Fastest I had it was 118 mph on a lake .... that is what the speedo showed ..... what that equates to in real (GPS) speed ... I haven't got a clue. I am sure I was only doing approx 108 -110 mph maybe .... Jeff |

Jeff, I've looked iinto the GPS for mine a few times. They are very limited for our application. Are you or any of the others members of HCS?
Does HCS mean Hot Chit Sledheads? Why not get a handheld? I know some guys that use them for hunting. Comforting thought there, guy in the woods with a loaded gun not even smart enough to even get back out. But why wouldn't it work on a sled? P.S. Tell your wife that the Velocity chit has to wait till next week. I used all my allowance money for this week to buy Whipple kits for the Biotch and don't have anything left for the UPS charges. But next week is looking good! :D |
