TIBBC "The Thread" again...
 

Since most of us from the upstate New York area, Lake Ontario, and the Thousand Islands, frequent the Formula section of OSO, and MOST of us own a Formula, we need to stop hijacking other threads for BB'ing purposes. So, I've decided to start this thread for us to "Air it Out". The rules are simple....there are none! Just be sensitive to other people's feelings, and keep it clean and have fun! Feel free for ANYONE to jump in and have at it!

OK, you guys, I'm used to reading this thread, and it taking up most of my day, so start posting, or are you all pi$$ed off at each other now. I must have missed something good, before Axa deleted the thread. Its all in fun, right ?, or did the:hitfan:

Still here, just ended up on the wrong end of this :hitfan:. Some times in life things that have happened in the past just catch up, sometimes you can forget them, set them aside and move on, sometimes not. A few close to me now know about them and likely understand. Enough said, still kickin'.

Up north here this behavior is the result of Brain Freeze, due to our somewhat inclement climate. The equivalent southern behavior would be the result of prolonged years of in-breeding.

That little tune just cost Axa 10 lengths, and another 10 lengths because he called me "George". So we're back to heads up, unless he can produce that post where I allegedly agreed to spot him 20 lengths for the Mrs. Axa chit, and the other 20 for the flat screen TV.

"Formula Boy" would be a contradictory term of someone who drives an "Old Mans Boat". Oh I forgot, the new term is "Gentlemans Performance Boat" :p

Just because you don't have a Formula is one thing ..... no big deal ...... but make no mistake about it there are no big bad Fountains here either ....... oops ..... and there it is ...... how's that from a "Formula Boy" for yeah ......

On another note I saw you guys I believe .... in Sodus a couple of times. I am from the Rochester area .... and cruise with two other 311s .

Who knows their Formula options? I'll take input from all but will only trust MagicFloat. What is the model of Garmin GPS on the new Fastechs? I was on the Formula site and they didn't specify which model. It's always fun to go and build a boat with the options I have on mine and see the retail north of 400k :D

My 2 08's have the 172C.

I would agree with Magicfloat ...... it is the 172c ..... which makes no sence ....... entry level plotter for a world class performance boat.
The funny part is that they are charging world class priceing for it as well.
They used to use alot of Raymarine products.

were you at harborfest last year with another formula? there were two classic formulas at our marina, (international) the night of the fireworks.

Yes we were ..... there were actually 3 of us right out on the very last slip off the "main breakwall". The other two were a red w/grey stripe and a white w/miami colours .... and mine is the black w/yellow stripe. They were there earlier in the day and I snuck in there at about 7:30 - 8:00 pm on Saturday night. I launched at Fair Haven state park.
Were you guys about mid way near the " head/showers". I remember seeing some 353s there.
As soon as this extended fall breaks we will all have to get together.

I don't think I am who you think I am. I keep my boat a Hutchinson's in the Bay, hang out with Axa/Dave. Last year I had a '99 35' Fountain w/Anniversary Graphics, purple,red, yellow. I think we met there, and have spent some time rafted up in the Bay area with you and some of your friends. We never made it down to the pond last year.

That's quite the trio of Sonics there. Your boat is the one with the purple and black right? Are the other two really twins?

Great look'in boats ..... considering they aren't Formulas ....

Where do you guys usually stay ? We go to New Horizon Marina. Great people on the docks, there is a pool , hot tub , 2 gas BBQ if you want to cook out. and the best part you can walk to town with ease and stumble back in the early AM. They also have a great launch and parking for our type of rigs.
