August 7 - 16 ????

Anyone interested in doing a "tour of duty"? I just booked off that week and I am going to do a tour from one end to the other so to speak.

Aug. 8th is the 1000 island Poker Run and the first weekend for Pirates Weekend in Abay. The weekend of the 15th is the second weekend of Pirates in the Bay.

I was planning on arriving in the Bay area on the 7th, hangin around for the Run on Saturday and hit the Bay that night then get out of dodge on Sunday. Either heading east to Cornwall/Montreal area or west to Picton/Belleville area or up the Rideau from Kingston or pull the boat and trailer to somewhere in the early part of the trent and go up to Georgian Bay.

First question is. Anyone interested?
Who wants to go where?
Who wants to join me?

Unfortunately i am limited to that week because of where i work. That being said I hope all of you are interested .... the more the merrier! This doesn't have to happen all in 2 days either. We have a total of 10 days here ... the way i look at it is 2 for trailering and 8 for boating.

Think about it let me know who is in so we start to plan the "MAIN EVENT".

Jeff

Georgian Bay. I know I won't have any problems getting Cheryl to go. just have to hope the timing works. We might have to meet you from the opposite direction, but we would both love to make that trip. Already got five out of five great lakes under the belt, guess we'll have to add to the total area. As I mentioned timing wise depending on work, we would definitly be game. Aslo there was another post on here about a group that does the Georgin bay on an annual basis.....The more the marrier if timings right.

Go West Young Man!!!

I've done the east to Montreal and on to Tois Rivere, (Three Rivers) Quebec. The Old Port of Montreal is neat but the locks suck, east of Montreal is like boating in a cow pasture, flat and boring, and we were running a Poker Run thru there. West I would be interested in for sure. Not so sure on the Rideau in a perf boat, but Picton, Bellville and maybe Toronto could work. Or run the U.S. side to the end of the lake. Not a real good time for Samantha at work, but I could likely hook Doug, aka Rock Star, for a guy trip early in the week. Maybe the Canadian side then cross the lake and back the U.S. side?

It's early, so lets bounce this around and see what happens.

WOW!! You must have had a good winter. Interest from the Black Biotch to venture out from the Bay??? So does this mean we have a chance to see you at the pond this year?? Ginger has been keeping up on her digging skills...Just in case:drink:

The Biotch is a proven and reliable ride, I'd trust her to venture out on any journey.
But she does like the dock at night. A little quirk I know, but what can I say. :ernaehrung004:
