Well now that I can see clearly...Lasik Surgery on Monday to eliminate the glasses!
Going to still need a cheater pair for close up, but should be better than the glasses for everything else. Results are pretty amazing!
As for the whole snowmobile thing, well let's just say I miss my buddies all winter long and this should be a great way to spend more time with these guys!
The Sled: 2002 Yamaha SX Viper 700 triple, thanks Al (The guy with the Warlock I rigged last spring). 1117 miles and looks pretty much like new. A couple of scuffs, but I am already looking to get it touched up here and there. I am looking into having the shocks re-valved. I am told the ride is a little stiff and can be adjusted with a simple re-valve?!? I started to polish things up last weekend and will continue that as the eyes heal and time allows.
The Clothing: I have a clothier that comes to my office and sells me my suits, ties and shirts. Got Twins is my official Snowmobile Clothier!! Klim outerwear is the best that money can buy and disputed by none. He has the hook-up (or a “Guy”) that took VERY good care of me. For that, I thank him for taking care of me and for all of the advice. If nothing else on the trails….I’ll look good!
The Membership: Who would of thought that you would get a discount on your NYS registration if you became a member of a snowmobile club? Why isn’t that an option with our boats? Thanks go out to Bird for the membership to their club The Pulaski –Boylston Snowmobile Club! I look forward to hanging with these guys this year and doing some riding!
Both Jeff and Dave have been VERY helpful with advice to me on something that I am just learning about. Back in the day when I had my 1970 something Ski-Doo, yeah it was cool and all, but things have changed somewhat…Ya Think? These guys know their stuff and are will to teach me. I look forward to some help out in the tundra on what to and not to do! Thanks Guys!
Dave

Dave awsome ride you got there, looks just like the 2 I have setting in the garage same model and year as well
You couldn't have made a better choice! From the picks I'd say it looks like it's in great shape. so what kind of track do you have on it, studded, paddles, stock? One word of caution, on those near zero days don't think your going to give it one got yank to get it running, start with two slowwww pulls then one hard and it should fire right up. (unless you got the electric start). The one bit of advice that will keep you from throwing your shoulder out, trust me.
By the way I have the service manual if you ever need info.

None of you have heard the latest news?
No snow this year! Too much, too early, too long last year.
So the Snow Fairy is taking this year off to recoup from last year.
