OK.............now this feels a little "covert" to me. Now Axa can say he announced he was going to my home water and I did not show up to play.
Saw a few too many floating obstacles at north end of Cayuga yesterday so I will wait a little longer.
Hope the test goes well, maybe keep the boat here for next weekend. We can meet up between rain showers !!

I am sure we will see video of Dave's test, so I will share a test from this spring.
Keep in mind, this was before the new set-up went in
!!
BTW: I was in the water first......my boat, March 19th, 80 degree weather.

OK, so after some bureaucratic BS with the new owners of our marina in Oswego (F'in city), we've decided to do the whole season in the Bay. We've reserved the most challenging slip to navigate in the entire boathouse, (what can I say, I like a challenge). Spent the better part of yesterday waxing the hullsides and bottom of the boat. This year tried the Colonite 925 product. A little extra work to get the haze off, (did it all by hand), but the Imron colors really pop with this stuff. Supposedly it has good longevity. Being in the boathouse, it won't be getting exposed like in 'swego. We're in either Sat. or Sun. next week, let the season begin!!!!
Good deal, was thinking you might make that choice. Do be carefull the river has lots of chit, Brad and Nancy hit what they thought was a dock friday. Hit so hard they had Bob pull the boat to check the hull out. Others were saying they had seen trees, whole thing not just branches, floating down thru. Water is still pretty high up there, I've heard they closed down the Robert Moses dam to slow the flooding in Montreal so it may take more time to clear out.
Try the Colonite liquid next time, very easy to take off. Used it for ages, tried something different last year, but going back to Colonite this year. That is whenever I actually get to it. If you drop in next weekend you'll likely beat me by close to a month, right now it looks like I'll shoot for the 4th.
I guess I'm like Axa. Been installing heads lately, difference is his are aluminum and mine are porcelain. FYI, Kohler does do some nice bowl work.

Sweet, you're going to need to call Liviorsi for a new speedo. You're going to run out of dial on that one! Was that the run that Brian backed out of it ?

I have to wonder though if Cayuga will be up to the task today of supporting the numbers that the majical waters of the Pamlico are famous for.

Anyways, was a good test day between the rain showers. Made it up to Union Springs, and then fought with a little shower here and there and a traffic jam at the ramp. Boat ran really well, not sure the weather was conducive to a "big" number. Seemed like the humidity took away a few ponies.
Got nothing for ya Kelly.
Didn't see a whole lot of debris. Stayed in the middle, maybe a different story around the shore line. A few things to check out and then off to the Bay for the summer

Bird,
It was an odd number. Does that help?
Wasn't really out for a number. Tuning some new parts and checking my new transom assemblies. I do have a small water leak that I have to look for. Not sure if it's one of the inspection plate on the extension box or a loose water fitting. I'll check into it tomorrow.

That is very respectable, my 32 Pachanga had 454/330's and could only muster up 60-62 on a good day. A pair of 177 blowers could get you 6-8 more, then some Chillers! Possibilities are endless.

I do agree, F'n things will only run what they run. I have absolutely nothing for Kelly either but I am proud of my best ever run and happy for him that his trip to Washington paid off in spades for him. I'm going to have the better and more computer savy half get it up on YouTube so I can link it over here. Just to set the program here the vid is of the Biotch's best ever. Never shared it before but I think it is pretty cool chit.
Screw this who is in the Boathouse first chit, lets see 'em run!!!

Glad you had a good day. Wish I knew you were coming all the way up to Springs, would have met up for a minute to visit at the launch. Seems with the south breeze the water would have been nice.
You came up to the infamous Sandy Cove where we often hang out.
Hope to catch you at the Boathouse this summer, I could use a high-octane 'slurpy'. Plus I need some tips from the King of Bling on what to upgrade next.

If I'd known I was going to test, I sure would have gotten a hold of you. But with the uncertain weather conditions, I wasn't even sure I was going to get out.
I'm pretty sure that Holly Cow is already a bling factory from what I've been told, but let me know how I can help!
