I will for sure be in before August, could easily hook and splash it for this weekend. But it needs the Ragged touch before I put it in for the season. Big reason is that I have sworn to finish this house remodel, F'n deal has dragged out way too long and if I start to play with the boat it will continue to drag. Will be in when you show and looking foreward to the King event, regardless of the rules I think the Biotch can be a contender. Or I could just invite Kelly O up for the weekend! Holy Cow I do think the Fountain camp would rule then!

Have a fun and safe first ride, I'll be out and about shopping for a new stove and a couple toilets.

Ragged's got his number. Those days are over. I have proven myself several times with my old tank and 13 year old hull design. I've got stills that everyone has seen and it will pretty much throw a high 80 to low 90 most any day. Not too many 353's that can say that. Oh yea, naturally aspirated, and 90% of the work I did MYSELF. I hope that says something.

Hey Guys,
I hope everyone has a safe and fun Memorial Day Weekend!
I unfortunately won't be making it up to the river this weekend due to this freak'in weather.
Watch out for the floating debris in the river .... I spoke to some friends who have cottages up there on both sides and they said the same thing ...... " tons of logs and limbs in the river"
Jeff

Well It's official. The Hot Stepper got wet yesterday
Not me the boat. As Jeff mentioned about debri. Lets make that DEBRI............I launched in the black river which feeds the St Clair. saw one 40 foot tree and a dock and lots of little chuncks that could do some damage as well. Made for a nice obstacle corse trying to get in and out of the launch. But once out in Lake Huron. Whole diffeent story other than the pesky flies. Water was flat temp around 80 ran 68
Hope everyone elses weekend went well.

I got in on Wednesday, 5PM was in on Sunday.
RESULTS:
King of the River was held on Monday. Ragged showed up 2 days early without his boat?
A tie! Chillin' and 5PMSMWHR both had an exceptional day on the river cruising at 55 mph. Only winner was the Arabs.
"Warming the Globe 16 cylinders at a time!"

I simply stopped in for a social visit and a free hot dog on the return side of an appliance shopping trip. I do believe had I spent as much on a set of labbed props as I did on the kitchen stove I could have mustered something better than 55 at the monday event.
Simply stating that I was 2 days early for an event is in itself somewhat suspect considering my reputation. Perhaps you can reschedule the "King" event for some time in July. At which time I promise not to show up early.

Can't hide from you guys' legend no matter where I go or who I talk to.
Met a client of Axa's while they were dropping a trailer for a 47 Fountain to store at my place, guy had some sled stories to share, believe he is a Endicott resident also.
Ragged has a bud selling a mint 97 35 that a friend went to see Monday, the subject quickly turned to boats discussed here and people we all know and have in common.
Small world when you run in the same circles.
