worst summer weather in a few years huh?
she's got the last week of the month off, we'll even bundle up if we have to and burn some fuel
then I'm gonna call it a season.
objective met, boat re-commissioned and all systems check out good
next season will be easy, drop her in and go...
been keeping busy sort-of- around the house and playing with other things
overhead door conversion on the big building turned out mint, very nice form and function
new wheels for the truck to change up the look
lowered the Challenger and added a front strut brace
just ordered a new helmet and a couple pair of goggles- got a new sled coming
the dumpy cool fall like weather has got me thinking about that- can't help it.
good to see you Peter. Stimulating conversation as always!

Agree with that, sat here Saturday due to suck azz weather, made the trip up to the Bay Sunday only to have the day chit out midway, then come back late afternoon as usual, spent the afternoon viewing the dock offerings in Clayton, lots to see there, had a mid afternoon snack at the new hotel in Clayton, impressed to say the least.
Did run into Capt'n Morgan in the Bay, good to see Jeff and Sandy. Hope to get the next couple weekends with some decent weather then it's back into the barn for the Biotch, maybe next year will be better.

Hey guys,
In case you don't get the email, the 1000 Islands powerboat club is planning an event:
On Saturday, September 13, 2014 between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm, there will be a gathering (rain or shine) of past 1000 Island Boat Club Members (and perhaps some perspective new members) at Bonnie Castles' waterfront bar, now called "The Pointe" (and formerly known as "Rumrunners").
The purpose of this gathering will be to reunite, discuss the future of the Club. Obviously we are working off a rather old list, so we apologize in advance if anyone has been overlooked, and please feel free to share this message with other Club members whom you may be in touch with.
Please plan to come as there will be many old friends, plenty of food, and much to talk about. The pizza, wings, salad, etc. are free and there will be drink specials available.
Please respond to Nelson Symonds by e-mail. Be sure to mention how many will be attending so we can plan for enough food.

Dave I won't make it due to work but would like to see a future for the club.
Hauling today actually. Won't winterize yet but if this summer was any indication there isn't much to look forward to weatherwise in the next 6 weeks.

talked to Briggs in Tom's office last week. Got the 411 on the "club" (final demise, closing out of accounts ect)
As far as the storage, no can do, just running out of room with further accumulation of "stuff" on my part.
Down to just Tom's 29 and a couple of small fishboats/cars
Most likely won't be doing any next year.
All about winterizing boat, vehicles, house pronto so I can spend some quality time sodomizing my new sled at the end of the month.
