I don't know but I will tell you it is the cheapest one I've seen for that year / size on the internet... I don't even understand why it is not sold since it was advertised... the guy who owns it is a member of the board...

That is a good deal, are problem is the interior colors and black dash. If it was all white it would have been gone.

That is a good price for a 382. The colors are an issue - that pink looks horrible. I wonder if you could dye it? Also I would add some vinyl on the hull to cover the pink.

Also the HP500's at 500hrs - most folks want to see a valve job done or at least the springs replaced. Now that boat is also 10+ years old - that's the threshold for many insurance companies to either drop them or jack the rates...been there!

At 500 hrs, the top end at a minimum is necesary. But what the heck, pull em and go through them for a little more and peace of mind.

I dont think the Black dash is that big a deal ....now the Dash itself is very Blah ....but very fixable ....Major deal for me would be the sliding door ....One thing I wish the 311 had ... 4.00+ fuel prices are pulling prices down as buyers become scarce .....m

Thanks for all of the opinions.

I don't mind the black dash and I could even deal with the pink. At this price I could correct a lot of issues. What would concern me are the hours. I'm only interested one with blue motors. This 382 would certainly need some work. But, if the engines and drives were properly maintained then they should have had upper end work (new valve springs, etc.) a couple hundred hours ago.

I'm watching boat prices contunie to drop as demand drops. With summer approaching I wonder if the high price of gas is enough to keep demand down. Or, will spring fever hit and people forget about the $4 gas?

If those motors are untouched I would want to freshin em up ..they are too good a motor to run them and then break something and really tear things up .....you can compression and leak down them to get an idea ....I guess it all goes back to how they have ben treated and maintained ..Thats one good thing about EFI motors you can scan em and get an idea of how they have been ran ...keep us posted ....m
