bumpers/fenders are you guys using on your 353?

I have 4 10" x 30" Big Bs by Taylor for my 311 .... great for rafting with "the guy who has small fenders" better to be safe then sorry is my moto .....
They fit right under the bolsters ... two on each side .... with no problems at all.

That's what I was leaning toward, but I tend to overkill things. Maybe I'll go with the 10"s.

I am going to start with the 8" and see how they work, I believe that is what most of my buddies have on similar size boats. 6" is WAY too small. 10" will not hurt except for storage.

I keep 6 of the 8 1/2 x 20's aboard. That way you have 3 aside of your own with covers for rafting in calmer water, In other circumstances say beam-to a dock or seawall you can put out 4 or even 5 if necessary.

It's not so much the dia. as it is the 30' length that is no advantage over 20's in the real world.

Try storing 6 of the 30's in a 353!
