Default Formula 350ss and 400ss

1.Any idea where I could find the cheapest new Formula 350ss or 400ss with Volvo Penta diesels?
2.Why to buy a new 350ss,if you can get with the same price 2006 model 400ss ?

I understand the 35ss is backordered and a hot ticket.

45SS being built now... should be another beauty!

Depends on cabin space too. I was surprised at the difference in a 370SS vs 400SS - cabin seems much bigger than the 3'. If you can get a deal on the 400SS and have the space for it, I'd say go for it. The 350SS is a new boat and highly anticipated, so I don't think there would be as good a deal for one of those for a while.

I have a 400SS and went on the 350SS at Miami Show much smaller cabin... as JayBird said it is night and day difference between the 370 and 400 I realize its just a few feet but it just seems the layout is way bigger...

Huge difference though, the 400SS has a step bottom the 350 does not... I dont know the speed of a 350SS but a Diesel 400SS will run 47-48 MPH...

You may want to talk to h20 toie on the board here... I remember reading in the last week that he just bought a Diesel 400SS from someone in NJ (?) and he lives in California.... with that being said it sounds like he was shopping the country for the deal... Just a thought

Hi
Do you think the cabin of 350 ss would be too small to my family parents with two kids 4&6 .I havn't seen 350ss,only 400ss ant that was quite spacious. They say, that 350ss with Volvo Penta diesels 2x300hp would run 46 knots.

The 350 bed is kind of tight in my opinion, I'm 6'-6" though... The front V sofas make a bed for the kids and you and your wife crawl behind the steps to get into the bed aft cabin... I would go look at both andf then make your decision on what you like... You can pick up a year or two old 400SS with warranty's for what you are going to spend on a new 350 because of the demand and backlog...
I would look at the ride and speed of both also, like I stated before one has a step bottom and the other does not...
