Infortunately, it is for real.

The stb. side of the engine compartment has a ton of empty space. I thought I'd make good use of the space by screwing in a metal (heat resistant) file crate for storing crap...Cockpit cover, life jackets, etc....

It seemed like a good idea until J-Bonz and ThrillSeeker had to crawl around the bilge to help me fix something.

....Its actually at jab at my accountant engineered storage compartment. All they did was bich about it and ended up using it as a place to throw all our empty beer cans while working.

If you still have the big colorful embroided decal on the sun pad, keep an eye on the stitching, they tear, Ask FormulaOne... he will tell ya.

I looked at one of these back in 2002. Almost bought it. It was a '95 with a 502 MAG. Had mini K-planes on it. The original graphics are pretty busy as is the big Indy logo on the sunpad. The motor in this boat was also painted purple. At the time, the price was $40K on an Eagle trailer. Ended up not pulling the trigger due to the boat not being able to plane very well with 4 guys in it and it had a pretty slow top end. Boat had an older standard, non-Plus Mirage prop on it so I'm not sure if it just wasn't propped right or if the motor was tired. Anyway, nice find and congrats!

yup! Or it may have been the fact that a 250 pound friend was stepping all over it during his bachelor party...I think that is where it began tearing...
