With all the noise hassles some people are running into, you should be sure you want the ST off. It's actually a pretty good system...

Mine turned out really loud, but that's what i wanted. At speed i can't really tell a difference with all the wind noise, but it is much much louder at idle. noise police are gonna hate it!

I got my ticket at lithia springs in my 382 with procharged 500s shot 105 on one motor just the tips, opps.

When you guys say loud, Can you talk over it at idle? Im almost thinking my ST system will be wrecked in order to remove it. I took the bolts out and it appears someone else had to and I am thinking that they used some sort of adhesive to bottom of the swim platform.

ninetym what year and motors do you have you will most likely need to turn them off to talk to another boater that comes up to you and update the stereo

its a 95 with hp 500's. I just don't want it to be obnioxly loud. And i want to save to ST in case I don't like it. Did you like yours without mufflers? Mark

500s no mufflers will be too loud it'll be fun till you want to talk if you destroy the box getting it off be prepared to change the factory tips then add mufflers.

What kind of mufflers do you have on yours? Mark

I took my rubrail off the transom, and the box came out really easy. Atthough I only have twins (454 mags), with angled tips, the boat is pretty loud.

im not sure mark they came on from the factory maybe gaffrig?
