They were installed at + - 20 hours and I had one melt down (lost a bearing) with 45 hours of use. Whipple replaced it for no charge and did a recon of the 2nd. one for a fair price.
At 175 hours I had a bearing start to go but I caught it in time and Whipple again did a recon on that one.
The Whipples have been a bit of a pain but the 500's have held up well. 185 hours total time now and going fine.
When I had the complete failure we had to tear down the engine to look for loose metal from the screws contacting so at the same time we pulled both motors and rebuilt using thicker top pistons which are supposed to handle the cylinder head temps a little better.

32 `lab finished Maximus Props
99,7 MPH @ 5000 RPM

we will soon try 31 `props
cause the engine should reach 5200 to 5300 RPM

That is fast, but it would be nice to hit 100 MPH

We usually run on European 95 (RON) which is comparable to
90 Octane US Fuel (RON - MON / 2)
RON = Research Octane Number

89 Octane US will be fine
the stock 600 now runs on 87

Is this available to the US yet? What would it do to Bravo XR drives?
