The '87 242 is insured for 15k - that's the "agreed-upon" value. Trailer is 2k. liability coverage is the same as my autos. I think $500 deductible. It's Allstate. They carry all my cars and my home as well.
I had my first homeowner claim with them last year - we had a hailstorm with about 14k worth of damage claims. I've also had one speeding ticket in about 12-14 years, which helps...no other moving violations or accidents...49 years old. That's what the "risk assessment" guys get paid to figure out, I guess...

I currently have 300k in liability to cover me untill my umbrella kicks in and the boat is valued at 18k for just under 500.
