If they were they kept it hidden from us. I was on the 45 yacht though at the spring on the water boat show at LOTO a few months ago. Very cool boat with diesels and IPS - you could spot the thing on a dime.

350 is in - it gets delivered next Thursday.

Hey Boomer, According to powers that be the 45SS is still on track BUT the hold up is the power plants. I was told in Dec.07 that it was slated to run with Zeus pod system BUT the speed rating versus size of motor was still being worked out. I asked about bigger Volvo IPS hp and they said they were talking about it. Every thing I have seen so far shows the speed versus needed hp leans toward Volvo but I have not heard anything lately. BUT I need at least 3 NOW!........

I hope I did not spill the beans on this one, but it was kind of hard to hide a 45' plug When I was at Formula in November the hull plug was underway. I am sure this will be another winner for Formula.

No Boomer you did not spill the beans while at Formula last year at the sales seminar we all got to take a look at the plugs being made and some of the other modules that may go into it. Me and some of the other sales staff from Glencove spent alot of time with Scott talking about what to expect on the 45SS and thats when they told us about the drive situation. But we are hoping it will come by 2010 model year!..............

The 310SS with 350 mags pegs 50 and eases up to 55 on the wish-o-meter, not sure on gps though. I would think you'd see 63-65 with 496's?????

310SS 320HP / 6.2 / 377 runs 52
310SS 375HP 496 Mag runs 57MPH
330SS 375HP 496 Mag runs 62MPH
350SS 425HP 496 HO runs 59MPH

The 31SS and 33SS use the 496Mag, not the 496HO like the 350SS and up.

You can get a 496HO on a 310SS if you custom order it. Most stock 310SS are the 300HP or 325HP, rare to see a 496 31SS- I found 1 so far in WI.

$20K+ MSRP for the 496 over the 377 along with being hard to find (throws in transport cost, deletes any tax benefits your state might offer for doing an in state deal, etc) makes it an unattractive option for most. So say $30K for 5MPH- not bad really but there is a better way.

What would be wicked would be to sell the 377's and dump some Raylar 550 aluminum closed cooling light weight small blocks in there, change the B3 to a B1 and hold on tight!
