Found a 1987 Boating book that says it replaced the 302 in 1986, and is "slightly" longer. It also said that the 311 with 420's and TRS was a $108,820 list price boat.

I know where the is a 1995 303 (non step hull) SR1 with twin 502 efi's & Bravo drives. A lot better mechanicals & no transmissions to worry about as in '80's models. It could probably be bought for around $40-45K. I has some minor gel coat & other small "owner" caused troubles, but nothing a little TLC & off season work could not fix. The boat is sound but has 750 hours on it, but just 20 hrs the last 2 years! If you are interested send me a pm & I'll tell you where it is or send you pics. Please note: this is NOT my boat.......I did think about buying it tho'......the wife just didn't want me to have another "project"! So, I bought a 97 312Fastec instead.....& with blowers on it!
