Default My redesigned 2008 350 SS dash panel

Here is how Formula should have designed the dash on the 350SS. There was alot of wasted space and plenty of room for another Raymarine E80 screen. Pics are from my cell phone because we dropped the camera in the water.

Nice!!

I have been looking at the 310SS's and the dash was going to be the 1st project I tackled as well- what the hell is Formula thinking. Wood look will be gone as well- don't like the look unless it has the wood cockpit floor. I don't like the grey cockpit carpet either unless you have a grey boat.

nuff b1tching- looks great!

Thanks Mark.
I got rid of the carpet also. It was always wet from washing the inside of the boat anyway. I will probably go with the fake wood floor next time around.

I went with the teak flooring option in mine - I will never go back to carpet....I see they changed the steering wheels - I wasn't that crazy about the dash and wheel at first, but it is growing on me now and I like it.

I am going to have to find out why I didn't get that steering wheel that other 2008 350's have. I like that wheel. I have seen other 08 350's and my boat is the only with with that wheel.

If I can get a deal together most likely it will be on an in-stock boat and not many have the teak floors which would be my preference as well. Looks a little classier and old school cool; being so much easier to deal with than carpet just adds that much more desire for it as well.

Carpet would be in the garage until time to sell it. I thought about tan artificial turf for a tan boat- feels cool, help clean feet before going in the cabin and easy to maintain.

Love the rides and hope your axis stuff gets figured out. Cool option but not for me.

Did you have to buy an uncut dash panel from Formula to move the displays around? It looks like the hole from the Raymarine display would have been much bigger than the Smartcraft display you replaced it with.

I changed the Dash in My 330ss, formula wanted 700.00 for a much smalled dash piece than yours. So I had to rethink my original plan.

The teak flooring is cool and as I said I would probably get it next time, But just in case you didn't know... Its more of a thin sticker type application that kind of looks like vinyl. Its not really a wood floor. My carpet is in the garage as well.
